Self-employed worker

You are probably a self-employed worker if:

  1. You pay your own taxes and National Insurance

  2. You can hire someone to do the work for you

  3. You provide your own tools and equipment

  4. You write out receipts for your work instead of receiving a wage

  5. You run the risk of losing profits if there is a problem or loss
